Shawnee and Rachel

Shawnee Smith, born July 3, 1970, at a height of 5'3, is a popular American performer and singer. Smith may be more well-known for her role as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series as well as Linda Becker in the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was once the frontwoman of Fydolla which was a rock group who toured across the US and in the UK. Smith is now half of Smith & Pyle a country desert rock band along together with Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina the second child of Patricia, an oncology nurse and Jim Smith a financial planner and former US Air Force pilot. After moving from South Carolina, her family settled in Van Nuys California. Her mother was married for 8 years after her divorce. She went to Ranchito Avenue elementary school in Panorama City Los Angeles, and Madison Jr. High School in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School and was awarded her diploma in 1988. Rachel was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2019 for Outstanding Original Music & Lyrics together with songwriting partner Jack Dolgen & the late Adam Schlesinger. The live performance of Rachel Death Let Me Do My Special is currently on tour during the spring and summer of 2023. Rachel has sold out Radio City Music Hall for a series of shows in 2019, performing Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Rachel also performed in her tour as a solo artist, What's Happening to Me in My Life? Included in the residency was a full week of performances at Just For Laughs.
